Happy Halloween 10-31-09

Happy Halloween from the Butterfly, Duck, Ladybug 1 & Ladybug 2 (yes we have 2 ladybug costumes - 1 thicker warm one, 1 thinner cooler one - OK so it was a long long wait for Laney to come home and I may have shopped a bit to much for many many years). Also from our "so cute it's scary" candy girl and a very very proud Mama & Poppy. May your Halloween be a very safe and happy one.

Not even Halloween yet

It is not even Halloween yet but so far Laney has already gone to 4 Halloween events!! What could be going through that head of hers?

Maybe this - "what Halloween means in Laney's mind":

Get dressed up all cute, smile, get this wrapped up stuff that everyone calls candy or treats, say thank you (must use manners), than hand it all over to Poppy and he smiles really big and says thank you. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM interesting!

Halloween Event # 4

Halloween event # 4 came earlier this week with a Trick or Treat at the Shoppes event. Laney's friend Meilin (who she met in China) was there and was also a ladybug and they kissed and held hands - so so so cute! Laney did not say trick or treat but every single time she got candy she smiled and said "ank you" AKA thank you. Mama & Poppy love the manners.

Halloween Event # 3

Halloween event # 3 came last weekend with a magician, treats, toys, fun and games.

Halloween Event # 2

Halloween event # 2 came last week at an outdoor event with music, a fire show, a hayride and lots of goodies. We saw some family and friends and had a great time.

Halloween Event #1

Halloween event # 1 came a few weeks back. Laney had a blast with her 3 cousins, her aunts, uncles, Grandma & Grandpa too.

18 Months - WOW one and 1/2 years old

I cannot even begin to express the emotions I have today as our baby girl turns 18 months old. I have written many details of my thoughts and feelings in her hard copy journal and I know someday she will smile reading what her Mama was feeling today. So enough of that emotional mussy topic and onto CHOCOLATE.......... we have managed to keep chocolate away from Laney and we hope to not make this a habit but if she is going to try it we wanted to be sure we had a blast and enjoyed the milestone that we know was bound to happen. So after strawberries, mango and yogurt for breakfast it was hello chocolate donut nice to meet you. Then after dinner tonight it has hello chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. We got some great shots with some great memories.
