This picture cracks me up.  Laney adores Daddy and as he looked out her bedroom window at some birds in the birdhouse in our backyard she wanted to do the same.  I adore the relationship it melts my heart.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2011

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are near and dear to our hearts.  We are so thankful for so much! One of those super special things is our precious Laney Love. We have done tons of activities and crafts for this holiday.  Here are some of those:

Goliath

Laney loves to be read to but she also loves to have you make up stories to tell her.  Often I hear........"Momma can you tell me a story about Laney and Goliath at the the grocery store or getting a band aid or playing at the playground".  The most hilarious part is it is always a story with Laney and Goliath.  When Laney had her baptism/christening in  April 2011 we got several bible children story books. Samsom/Goliath obviously stuck with her and now it is like her and Goliath are buddies. OMG the innocence of children, gotta love it!

OMG this little one wants nothing more than for her baby teeth to fall out.
LOL I keep telling she is 3 1/2 not 7 OMG slow down baby girl and don't grow up to fast ;(

Life is finally getting back to normal around here after all the storm damage.  Here are just a few pictures from things we saw.......

Today Laney said "Momma this is my pretend friend Lindy".
I said "oh and where does Lindy live"?
"In Pretend Mexico" she said.
Giggling at that I said "oh what color eyes does she have"?
looking at me with "the look" and saying it with a tone that basically said something like ........................Hello duh how could you not know the answer to that!!  she said "Blue the same as Grandma's".  ;)

fire station field trip 2011

Mid October was a cool field trip that I never got to post (crazy snow, Halloween reschedule etc) so before I forget here goes:

09, 10, 11 Halloween

2011 (age 3 1/2)

2010 (age 2 1/2)

2009 (age 1 1/2)

Right before our eyes our little pumpkin grows and grows

10-31-11 Cancelled

Well on the "actual Halloween" we heard a lot of times the word cancelled.  WOW!  Yes it is true our 1st snow fell on 10/27/11 and than we had a major storm on 10/30/11 and our town was 97% without power.  Trees and power lines everywhere were down and it was truly dangerous to go out for Halloween so like I said the word cancelled kept coming up.  So she got all the candy at our house since we had no one come, we went to our next store neighbors and 1 family members house they filled her up and that was Halloween this year.  Fun, cute but very very different.

Lets face it Laney is 1 lucky girl!  Daddy is an awesome Sledding buddy and this 1st storm was no different.  He built her a fun ride in the backyard - GO DADDY!

Spider Hat/Skeleton fun

Love this hand me down outfit (friends do rock).  We had a blast making a spider hat and coloring a trick or treat bag 1 night at an outing (prior to actual Halloween).

School day/Halloween

It was fun to dress up and see all her classmates for a school day/Halloween (prior to actual Halloween)

1 week b/4 Halloween

We attended a fun event and our pink poodle puppy had a great time.  We laughed as her favorite thing was not the candy but saying hello to all the other kids in costume............."hello Cinderella, hello Franklinstein (lol yes she says Franklinstein), Hello snow white, hello superhero" and so on.  It was cute!
