We are enjoying the holidays and just doing a bit less computer and a lot more family.  Will post tons about our magical holidays soon.

Family December 2010

 

HO HO # 5

 

We attended a Children's Christmas Party lunch with Santa & Laney chatted with Santa about her name, her age & her love of instruments. We got some nice family photos also but gotta save those for another day :)

HO HO # 4

Laney's playgroup/school had a little field trip to see Santa. Even though Laney had already gone to this same place with Daddy and Mommy a week earlier she wanted to go with Miss Debbie and her friends from playschool. SOOOOO here are a few shots from Santa visit # 4. Ohhhh it was cold. Laney answered Santa's question of what he should bring to her with "tools please, same as daddy". Crazy to say we still have 1 more Santa visit planned so stay tuned for HO HO # 5 (# 5 and the final HO HO visit before the big Christmas Day).

HO HO # 3

HO HO visit # 3!  I got to have the pleasure of meeting 2 dear friends and their little angels.  We dressed the 3 girls in the same dresses and shoes (thank you J).  Oh it was precious.  We got asked throughout the day if they were triplets!  Our response over and over no just good friends.  I got a tug in my heart and a tear in my eye as I thought about it.  GOOD FRIENDS.  It was a great day with good friends.  The girls road a choo choo train, had a visit with Santa, rode the carousel, had lunch and played at the play center.  A special day.
Laney sat on Santa's lap and when he asked her what she would like for Christmas she said "umbrella" (mind you it was raining on this day).  Stay tuned we have many more different Santa visits planned.  Ho Ho # 4 post soon.

HO HO # 2

This was Ho Ho # 2 of 2010!

Laney walked in and said "Hello Ho Ho"  when he asked her what she would like for Christmas she said "A Piano".  After we left she said Momma Ho Ho has white gloves!  HO HO # 3 coming tomorrow!

HO HO # 1

This was Ho Ho # 1 of 2010

While waiting in line Laney said "no thank you, Laney not sit on Ho Ho's lap". When we got up there she saw the kids before her get a toy from Santa after they sat on his lap. She turned to us and said "Laney sit on Ho Ho's lap PLEASE"! So she walked in and said "Hello Ho Ho" and sat on his lap when he asked her what she would like for Christmas she said "A fishing pole" he said a fishing pole? She looked at him and said Laney take a bath with fishing pole (with a look like Santa I have to explain this to you, really)?? Cracked us all up. He said would you like anything else. She said a "a piano, a blue piano". After we left Santa we saw Mrs. Claus and now she won't stop talking about how there was a "Lady Ho Ho". We saw Reindeer which she said with excitement "I see a Moose, I see a Moose". Oh the joy of the 1st Santa visit of the season. Stay tuned we have many more different Santa visits planned. Ho Ho as Laney calls him # 2 post soon.

Sale

Laney got very excited when we found a rice milk sale and we loaded the cart and later the refrigerator with rice milk.  Now every store, every errand, every day she says "rice milk sale today momma please".
I replied today after days of this ....."Laney My Sweet Love.... Momma can only fit 12 rice milks in the fridge at a time - slow down banana". Cracking me up everyday in every way!

chatty Kathy aka jabber jaw

OMG it is non stop chatter with little miss.  I have for months been joking with her and saying "OK Chatty Kathy take a breath"  Well Daddy got a taste of it last week and he said " Hello Jabber Jaw Laney does that mouth ever stop moving"?  The girl is full of things to say and ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is music to our ears (OK most of the time anyways).

Hi Grandpa

We are finally giving Grandpa his special birthday gift today. It was earlier this month but today we will spend the day with him and celebrate.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!  XOXO

Happy Thanksgiving

How very thankful we are!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Laney and I are 110% in love with our once a week mommy and me school. Here are some pictures of craft projects from last week. Her thanksgiving place mat and her GOBBLE GOBBLE turkey. HAPPY THANKSGIVING from us all!
