chatty Kathy aka jabber jaw

OMG it is non stop chatter with little miss.  I have for months been joking with her and saying "OK Chatty Kathy take a breath"  Well Daddy got a taste of it last week and he said " Hello Jabber Jaw Laney does that mouth ever stop moving"?  The girl is full of things to say and ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is music to our ears (OK most of the time anyways).

Happy Thanksgiving

Still Relaxing

 

Laney loves to cuddle, loves to relax and veg out. 

Lately if we say OK you can relax and cuddle for a half an hour than at the end of the half an hour say OK Laney lets clean up and go do XYZ.  She says to us..................

"No thank you, no get up Laney STILL RELAXING!"

We have tons and tons of video and pictures of the cutie relaxing but here are 2 from the other day.

Mommy - Baby

Everything lately is mommy - baby.
We see a picture of 2 elephants and she points to 1 and says mommy elephant and points to the other and says baby elephant.  This is happening with everything.  From trees, to rocks, to animals, to cars, to leaves, to people.  A cute phase we are having a blast with it :)

 In Laney's Gym class she loved the back bends so here are some pictures of her doing back bends in the yard (on her airplane).

play doh, scissors, list, storytime

A few things that have made us chuckle in the past few weeks:
Laney loves Play doh.  She never had any at home but loved it at playgroup/school.  So we bought a little bit for home and wow....................the amount of time she can spend making all kinds of imaginative creations with that play doh really allows me to cook dinner - lovin in.  Why did we wait so long to get
play doh?
We have a pair of playdoh scissors and she loves them and cracks us up how she talks about them all the time.  She calls them her "Lizzors"  So cute the way it sounds with pure excitement "Laney's lizzors".
I am a big list person.  I have lists, I make lists, I use lists so why should I be surprised that everywhere we go Laney says "Laney's own List" holding a piece of paper.  She happily tells everyone in every store that she has her own list, same as mommy.  It is precious really.
We had family story time the other night.  Laney on daddy's lap in the big nursery chair and mommy at their side in the little nursery chair and Maui and Tiki cuddled on the floor at our feet.  It was a story she had never picked before and it was long.  As we got to the middle (she was very into this story) Daddy and I both looked at each other and said "huh I'm really curious to see how this ends" we all just started laughing.  Seriously I think we were so into the story and hoping Laney would sit through it all cause we so wanted to see how it ended.  Well she did sit through the whole thing (she loves books) and we got to find out what happened at the end of Lady's Christmas Surprise/Disney's Lady and the Tramp.
Well that was a bunch of Laney talk so tomorrow more pictures :)

Giraffe Lunch

This conversation cracked me up.  I hope it comes through as just as funny in writing as it did in person because this is one I want to remember.
Momma says: Laney we need to head home and make lunch.  What would you like for lunch today?
Laney says: Laney eat giraffe.
Momma 1st says: huh?
Momma than says: What would you like to eat for lunch Laney?
Laney says: Laney eat giraffe lunch momma.
Momma says: Laney you can't eat giraffe!
Laney says: (with a very serious concerned face): Oh no!!! Milk in it?

OMG like she seriously thinks she can't eat giraffe for lunch because of her milk allergy and there is milk in it!  Not like it has anything to do with the fact that people don't giraffe.  Ohhhhh kids say the darnest things!

Laney has really been enjoying her playgroup/school.

No Cavities

Last week I heard these words over the screams of my precious girl.  OHHHHHHHHHHHH thank goodness they only schedule appointments every 6 months because those tears, screams, squeals and flat out terror are not easy on either of us. Yeah ....No cavities!

field trip # 2 (firehouse)

 We had a fun cool field trip with Laney's playgroup/school.  Laney would not sit inside the fire truck but she did sit on the bumper.  She even helped to spray the small water hose (below is a picture of the big water hose being sprayed) she thought that was hoot too.  Laney is still talking about the trip and her friend Mr. Ed. Halloween # 3

 

  

October 29th  was a night of Halloween fun with 2 events. 

Games, face painting, music, and costume contests (see the smile on Laney's and Daddy's face as Laney won a TROPHY for her costume)! We also went on an evening hayride which made Momma and Laney smile!  More Halloween fun and it was not even actually Halloween yet at these events! So this is Unicorn costume wearing # 3......... # 4 will be on 10-31 ...Halloween night!  Thank goodness I am tired - LOL.
