Now for a itty bitty blog break

August brings a itty bitty blog break for us.  We are working on something big and just need sometime to plan tons of things out.  Soon we will share more but for now just a itty bitty blog break. HAPPY AUGUST!
*****UPDATED 8/12/11******* Just wanted to say all is well and we plan to be back to blogging in a week or so (with news about our blog break) BUT I had to say Thank you to so many who have commented and/or e-mailed to say they miss the blog.  Now that sure does make us feel loved.  Thank you ;)

We have been packing a picnic and heading to the green for summer music fun.  It was a blast last year but this year ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my does she shake it - LOL

Blueberry pickin field trip

 

The Blueberry picking field trip with her Mommy and Me school really was a blast!  The days following we made blueberry pancakes and added blueberries to our smoothies

this is how Laney watches fireworks. Our hands over her ears and than her hands on top.  She smiles the whole time watching unless you try to adjust your hands and they come off woooooooooooooo than the tears do flow.

1st drive in (and last)

It has been forever (like 14 years forever) since we have been to the drive in so we decided to give it a try with little miss Laney in tow.  OK so not one of our best ideas ...............live and learn.

soon it will be dark and the movie will start ;)

This is my car clock 11:57 pm she finally stopped munching on goodies, talking, climbing from front to back and just being a non stop wiggle worm who was probably thinking yeah I am free in the car - yahoo no strapped in place car seat...I'm free, I'm free.

This is my stove clock 10:48 am the next morning she finally woke up (her latest sleep ever).  Did I mention we are done with the drive in for MANY years ;)

We were lucky enough to share in the celebration of great friends.  The pony party was so much fun.  Laney was so excited to ride a pony and said "I by myself Momma" little miss independent (sometimes).  The cupcake pony cakes came out cute and tasted yummy too.  Great party, Great memories, Great friends!
