That is what Laney called Valentine's Day.  "Just because I love you day" SWEET!

Crack up

Laney really has such a personality, such a sense of humor. Today she was telling her knock knock jokes (this is an everyday in our house) and she was laughing and laughing and she said "momma I crack myself up" Keeping cracking yourself up my Laney Love it is music to my ears ;)

so terrible

I love to put down things she is saying just to help me look back and smile.
Well all the time it is "oh no that is so terrible"
If I say "no honey we do not have any pears left" she says with distress in her voice "oh no that is so terrible". If I say Maui and Tiki are sad we were gone all day she will say with distress in her voice "oh no that is so terrible". If I say I cannot get that for you right now please wait 2 minutes she will say with distress in her voice "oh no that is so terrible".  ;)

Belly Fly

When the phone rang and a play date we had got cancelled because the other mom had a stomach bug Laney ran to make her a get well card.  A week later when that mom was better and we rescheduled Laney ran to me and gave me the card and said "Momma you give it to her... I do not want to get a belly fly" OMG stomach bug to her was a belly fly - OMG ;) LOL

Amazing miracle of love

Thinking of 2 tiny souls today :(  All I can say is faith, time, love and my sweet Laney have helped put a great band aid on this day and my heart. Valentines Day has really come a long way.

bigger big girl bed

Well in 2 1/2 months Laney will turn 4 and we told her for her birthday we would get her a bigger big girl bed.  It does seem that she is growing way to tall for her toddler bed (which used to be her crib and converted to her toddler bed).  I figured this would give me 2 1/2 months to get used to the whole idea of my baby getting even bigger ;(

So the pros: she is happy as a clam about it, she slept great, she has a ton more room, she loves to say the tongue twister "bigger big girl bed"

So the con's: Momma cried at the taking down of the toddler bed (and several times looking at this bigger big girl bed). Wow it cost much more than I expected to get all needed for a bigger big girl bed) YIKES! We still need a few things but we will have to wait for some birthday gifts to get those.

Extra scoop.  I think a trundle is the best way to go for our future sisters (anyone else ever had 1)?
