Gung Hay Fat Choy (aka Happy New Year)!

The Chinese welcome this new Lunar Year on January 26th.
2009 is year of the Ox. 2008 was year of the Rat.
So we feel we would be correct in saying our daughter was born in the year of the RAT (2008) and she will be in our arms and come home in the year of the OX (2009).
Missing you baby today on this Chinese New Year and everyday!

This is insightful. Thanks for inviting us to take a peek into what you're experiencing.

Kel, what does CCAA stand for? And the placed through date of 3/2/06 - does that mean dossiers received as of that date?

M114230 you sweetheart for asking, I love it. CCAA stands for China Center of Adoption Affairs. Our dossier was stamped in China (they call it an LID (Log In Date) on 03/08/2006 and so far CCAA has matched children with families paperwork who was stamped in through 03/02/2006. Love ya my friend.

China notifies our agency. Plus there is a famous place called China adopt talk run by a women named Rumor Queen so we always can see what rumors are out there. Funny how the whole adoption world comes together.
