BIG EGG (on head)

OK well you might wanna read this before you look at the pictures. YIKES big egg on her head. It finally happened and scared Mama & Poppy right into saying - OMG should we go to the hospital??*&^%$#@??
OK so it was Wednesday, April 7, 2010 and earlier that day we had a play date at a local playground and I was funny cause I was thinking oh no don't fall and get an goose egg on your head cause we had an appointment that night for Laney to have a spring photo session (Easter eggs, live bunnies, flowers & all things Spring) So the day went great no falls & off we went that night to the session which ROCKED by the way, so stinkin cute (photos of that someday soon). So after the session I was filling out forms & paying & Mark was letting her walk the halls (she had been in the car seat & than the stroller & than doing the photo session so the girl needed some walk time). Well I finished went looking for them & saw him holding her. She was not crying but I saw she had been. Mark said she turned around while walking down the hall to give him a big smile & WHACK she walked right into the corner of a wall. Well I looked at her head and said we need ice NOW. We walked into the dunkin donuts right there, got a cup of ice (which occupied her to play with) a rubber glove (which we poured ice in and held on her head) and both said OMG it is huge we need to get to the hospital. Thankfully Nurse Aunt Terry to the rescue! We called her from our cell & told her what happened she walked us through what to look for, what to do, how to handle & we did not end up at the hospital - PHEW!

p.s. she is doing great, the swelling was gone the next day and it was just a tiny bit black, blue & purple. Now we can look back & say she had a photo shoot with Easter eggs & left with a Easter Egg on her head!

Yep, we have had a goose egg. I did not see it happen, my mom said she was running around and fell into the corner of the kitchen cabinet. Immediate swelling AND tears. Good job on solving the problem. You sure did have a lot of great Easter pics. Mary beth

Hi Kelly - so sorry to hear of Laney's boo-boo - we had our own drama this week with a blister on Ivy's toe - healing - but much too slowly for this momma - by the way - if you want to include any pictures of Ivy or Brian or I - please feel free - I agree with Mary beth - great pictures (as always) - big hugs to all.
