How I spent my Birthday

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 we started our day with an idea Poppy has had for many years (I remember him talking about it 14 years ago......I Love his sweet amazing fathering ways). He blew up almost 200 balloons (with a vacuum) & covered the floor in her playroom. In hopes the balloons would be as tall as Laney was. He sat inside the room covered by balloons with the video camera and when we opened the door she let out a big "Wow". Those 2 played in there for hours. They also tried out the balloons in her crib & had a blast there too. Laney opened presents & tried on birthday hats - too cute! Next was our weekly music class which we all love & it was fun to have us 3 as a family there (Daddy had the day off from work). Drums, Guitars, singing, dancing, friends & a parachute now that is great birthday fun! Next we headed to a children's museum where Laney could touch & explore (well let's rephrase that...........Where daddy & Laney could touch and explore. My 2 children (lol) had a blast & Mama did as well. Bubbles, water, tree forts, slides, computers, play dental offices & much more all great fun for our little 2 year old. We ended at our favorite local (South Asian-Chinese-Japanese) Restaurant. They have awesome food & the staff adores Laney. She is like a movie star when we go in. They all crowd around to see her & chat with her so adorable. As you will see from the photos she LOVES soup! By 6:15pm little Laney was fast asleep (until 9:15am the next morning) guess we really tired her out on her special day. Her 1st birthday home turning 2 years old..................WOW!

OMG, too cute! I don't know how you pried Laney (and Daddy) away from that room full of balloons! I know two little munchkins who would have stayed in there all day!!
