1 2 3 in chinese

It warms my heart to hear her counting in Chinese!  1 2 3 in Chinese is a daily proud moment of chatter for her. I know it is just a small milestone but it is in the cutest little voice.

1st day of Fall

We spent the 1st day of Fall (last week) together having a great family fun day!  Here are a few pictures:

Yes it is true there are some great advantages to having a 2 year old who wears "big girl unders" as she calls them.  BUT there are moments I miss diapers!  Like the other day as we ran some errands.
We made 4 stops and at 3 of those stops Laney said "mama potty please".  At 2 out of the 3 she went pee pee and the 1 where she did not she said "I try, no pee pee".  BUT the kicker is the comment she makes as we walk into these public restroom.  I swing open the door to any public restroom and she looks all around and says "OHHH I LIKE IT"   Oh Laney!

If I am eating something that Laney cannot have (which I try to not do around her often but) she will say "Laney have some please" I say no this is not for Laney.  She looks at me and says............."SPICY" I crack up.  I say no sweetie it is not spicy (I don't eat spicy food so not sure where that came from but it sure is cute) it has milk in it so Laney can't have it.  Laney than says "Rice Milk Please" OMG this child cracks me up!

conference call mess

A few weeks ago I had to be on a conference call during the day (normally if I do them they are during nap time) but this one was not.  Well little miss kept busy drawing but obviously loved that I was busy and not able to watch her every move.  Thankfully we learned shortly after in the bath that the purple marker was washable.  Crazy busy girl!

Day 3 - Bye bye Natalee than afternoon of fun

In the morning we had to say bye bye to Natalee (bummer).  We did enjoy some afternoon fun at the harbor and in little Italy eating at Mommas all time favorite restaurant there.  We sure did tire Laney out LOL. The little vaca is over but our memories will last forever!
