Christmas morning 2010 was magical. It was 8:30am and we decided we better wake little princess Laney up. Since we had lunch at 1 families and dinner at another we really had a few places to be and we wanted to let her have time at home with her toys and our own little family. With her eyes still closed she tried to sit up and she said "HO HO HERE"? Than she laid back down. It was so cute and we have it all on video! When she walked out into the hallway she said "where is ho ho"? She looked for him in the living room saying "where is ho ho"? She saw the empty cup of rice milk, the crumbs of cookies and the bites out of the carrots and she said "ho ho likes rice milk"! We unwrapped all the playdoh in her stocking and she named all the colors she opened. We went and took a little break to do our morning cuddle, fix her hair and go potty than we headed downstairs where she walked around the tree and said "ho ho here"? OH MY she was still looking for him she walked around all the presents looking for ho ho to LITERALLY be there. Precious!!!! Eventually she slowly unwrapped her gifts (much slower than we expected). After opening each one she would say with excitement "for me"? She got so many great gifts and family and friends were so generous and ya know that Ho Ho is pretty awesome too :)
