April 3rd ONE year ago was the phone call we had dreamt of. The long awaited "Referral". During that phone call we saw our precious baby's face for the first time & heard all kinds of details about her. Wow what an awesome phone call!! April 4th the "stork" came (the FedEx man) to deliver 2 more pictures & tons of info about her. What an amazing two days - the joy of our lives was finally know to us. I am getting teary eyed just writing this!! It is really neat to sit here & reminisce about the details of those days. Here are some photos from those days. Tidbits about the photos: our agency told us the day before we would unfortunately NOT get the call Friday and would get it on Monday so we were out & about with no camera, no video, no call sheet when the call came in on Friday night so no actual pictures or video from those moments. These pictures are from the next morning waiting for the FedEx man (by the way I tracked him all night to see where he was, there was no sleeping that night). Another oops we were taking video and forgot to take photos of him so these are photos taken of the video on our TV (so quality is funny). 1) The FedEx Stork walking up the driveway. 2) Look at the surprise & weird look on his face like he is saying WHY are you taking a video of me, these people are weird? 3) Look as his smile after we explained, than he smiles big & says WOW I just delivered a baby!!!! He was so nice!!!
